Q & A with Dr. Tyler LeBaron

We learned about (1) our body’s muscular-neuro structure, (2) H2 gas inhalation devices, (3) using H2 for post-surgical tissue regeneration/survival/repair, and (4) H2 tablets and their inventor.

First, the Muscular-Neuro structure has about 650 muscles that store about 80% of our body’s total glucose as glycogen. Muscles can uptake glucose after eating. What if we do not have enough muscle mass? After eating or drinking simple carbs or sugars, blood glucose will spike – leading to or worsening diabetes. H2 has significant glucose regulation and modulation properties to offset insulin resistance and diabetic problems.

Second, many H2 gas inhalation devices have emerged as a complementary way to receive H2 therapy directly into the bloodstream via our lungs. Athletes inhale H2 during pre/post workouts to improve performance and recovery. Some people breathe H2 gas while sleeping. But safety is a huge issue due to higher percentages of H2 gas have the potential to ignite. Lower concentrations and flow rates are critical. Dr. LeBaron helped co-invent a device that addresses the above concerns.

Third, what about Pre and Post-Surgical benefits? A daily intake of H2 can prepare and strengthen the body before surgery. After surgery? There is quite a bit of research to support H2’s potential to stimulate tissue regeneration, survival and repair at the cellular level. This is due, in part, to its ability to penetrate the cell membrane and help maintain a healthy cell membrane potential (electrical difference between the inside/outside of a cell).

Fourth, is there a difference between “elemental magnesium” and “magnesium” on H2 tablet product labels? No. It’s all elemental. Alex Tarnava is the primary inventor of the “open-cup hydrogen tablet” formula that can dissolve up to 12.4 ppm (mg/L) per glass – released in 2016. Dr. LeBaron warned there are “serious scams from some China” companies trying to cash in on the tablet industry. Make sure to buy from a reputable supplier that adheres to the highest international standards.
